Global Shutter vs Rolling Shutter untuk Objek Bergerak

When the product moves during inspection, one sensor detail decides image quality more than megapixels ever will: the shutter type.

Rolling shutter: read row by row

A rolling shutter exposes the sensor one row at a time. For static scenes this is fine and cost-effective. But when the object moves, different rows capture it at slightly different moments, producing skew and distortion — a straight edge becomes slanted, a round part looks warped.

Global shutter: one instant, whole frame

A global shutter exposes every pixel at the same instant, freezing motion cleanly. For parts on a moving conveyor, rotating cylinders, or robot-guided handling, global shutter is almost always the right choice — measurements stay true and codes stay readable.

If the part is moving when you capture it, choose global shutter. The cost difference is small next to the errors motion distortion causes.

GSO matches the sensor to the line speed and motion of your application, so measurements and code reads stay reliable at production pace — part of scoping every HIKROBOT deployment correctly from the start.
